Half-pipe jacketing Reactor provides excellent heat transfer for heating or cooling the contents of your tank. Half pipe, which is welded to the outside of the tank to allow hot oil or steam to flow along the outside of the tank, providing good heat transfer to the tank's contents. It can also be cooled with cold water in the same way. Half-pipe jackets are ideal for cooling water, steam, hot oil and heat transfer fluid applications in high pressure or high media flow environments, and they allow for a thinner inner shell wall due to the design. The thinner shell allows for superior heat transfer properties. We custom manufacture pressure vessel Reactors with various half-jacketed configurations to meet your specific heating and cooling needs.
