Distillation Columns
Distillation Columns are used in small scale laboratories as well as in big manufacturing types of industries. Distillation is a separation technique that utilizes differences in boiling points between two or more chemical substances in their liquid phase. For example, methanol and water can be separated using distillation since the boiling point of methanol is around 65 °C and the boiling point of water is 100 °C.
